This. Is. Bananas. So there's a new sex toy doll, Harmony (the original, though she has many friends with different names) and she- along with all her friends is coming to the U.S ... to a brothel.
I'll let that sink in for a second...

OK.
The idea revolves around customers being able to "rent" these sex robots to try out in a private room before purchasing one. Kind of like test driving a car before singing the paperwork and bringing it home. The brothel means to open its first American franchise in Houston, Texas and will be called Kinky S Dolls.
These lifelike sexbots cost about $2,500 and aside from looking very real, as you can see in the videos below, they also react to touch and have vocal responses. If you really wanna invest your money, there are more expensive versions with AI that can engage in conversations.
Right now Toronto, Canada houses one of these rental/purchase shops but when news hit that they were coming to the states many were outraged.
Micah Gamboa, of Elijah Rising, is on a mission to end sex trafficking "through prayer, awareness, intervention, and restoration", and he told ABC 13 that his organization's biggest concern is that "this sex brothel with robots is gonna train men to become rapists.
"What's next? Is it child robots? Where's the line? Where is the boundary?"
A petition was started requesting that sex brothels be banned from Houston. So far there are over 5,800 signatures.
What do you think? Is this harmless fun or a danger to technology?
