Wondering when some of Disney's newest films will be hitting theaters? Wonder no more.
The studio has announced release dates for several upcoming projects _ including the fifth ``Indiana Jones'' film, its live-action version of ``The Lion King'' and a sequel to ``Frozen.''
The Indiana Jones movie is being shoved back to July, 2020 as Stephen Spielberg returns as director along with Harrison Ford as star.
You may still have to stand in line to catch some of the next ``Star Wars'' movie premieres. But you probably won't have to bundle up to do so _ and that has nothing to do with global warming.
Disney says the new ``Star Wars: Episode IX'' will make its debut during the Memorial Day weekend. That makes it the first in the main trilogy to come out during the summer box office season. Both ``The Force Awakens'' and the upcoming ``The Last Jedi'' were December releases, as was the ``Star Wars'' spinoff ``Rogue One.'' You can get into the habit of catching ``Star Wars'' releases in warmer weather next year.
That's when the ``Star Wars'' anthology film focused on young Han Solo will first test the Memorial Day weekend with a previously announced May 25, 2018 release.
``Lion King,'' starring Donald Glover as Simba, and directed by Jon Favreau is due in theaters July 19, 2019.
As for ``Frozen 2,'' Disney will ``let it go'' on Nov. 27, 2019. Thank you Kristen Bell for the "weather" update!
