Well, today they're spicing it up. I'm sure you've heard all the fuss about Prime Day, the sales and the great deals. Well, here's the breakdown and a few tips to make the best of it!
Amazon has estimated they will sell about $1 billion this year on Prime Day. It starts tonight (July 10th) at 9 PM and, unlike previous years where the event lasted 24 hours, it's going on for 30 hours. That's 30 hours of sales in all departments.

The "catch" so to speak is that these great deals are available to Prime users only. There are great benefits to the $99 a year membership like free delivery, instant access to video streaming, unlimited reading on any device, original audio series from Audible, unlimited photo storage and much more. Prime memberships will definitely skyrocket today.
Competitors are already trying to step up their game. Target already kicked off their Back-2-School free shipping and Walmart is advertising free 2 day shipping without membership fees.
Some tips to make the best of Prime Day:
- Download the Amazon app and check for additional tools to help you save
- Resist the urge to buy just cause it's discounted. Take a few moments to Google search the costs and make sure you're truly getting the best deal.
- Do your research before 9p! Some of the sales are already listen on the website and the app such as the Echo being 50% off
