Man breaks up 4,000 relationships and causes 17 divorces - in 10 Days

His name is Daniel Sloss and he has a stand up comedy show on Netflix that has caused over 4,000 break ups and over a dozen divorces. That number is still rising. Why?

A simple 20 min joke about the reality of our society's pressure to find a partner and marry before a certain age and the way it often pushes us to settle for the lesser evil (so to speak) just so we're not alone. But these relationships deteriorate and we stay, and stay, and stay.

His live stand-up routines have been streaming on Netflix since September 11 - yes, it only became available to view 10 days ago.

In his show Jigsaw, the 28-year-old, from Fife, calls BS on the idea that we all have a soulmate, saying the message society puts out is: "If you are not with someone, you are broken. If you are not with someone, you are incomplete. If you are not with someone, you are not whole."

He says this leads to settling and unhappy marriages or relationships and years of being tied down to the wrong person.

It seems like, for many watching, the joke stroke and chord and triggered them to move on, breaking up with their partners and venturing off to greener pastures, even if it meant being that very dirty word: single.

I love this chaos. I personally know why too many people with others just cause they're a decent fit or cause they fear being alone.

You willing to watch this with you bae?
