The South Korean all boy group has claimed the attention and loyalty of fan from all over the world. During their short career they've shown that their followers are fierce in supporting them globally, on social media, and now, at the box office too!
BTS Burn the Stage: The Movie, broke the global event-cinema record. This is huge for two reasons: 1- it's just their first film! 2- they beat fellow boy-band megastars One Direction!
The film launched on Thursday and, according to Trafalgar Releasing, it has already racked up 1.4 million admissions. Back in 2014 One Direction: Where We Are admission totaled 1.2 million. It's estimated that BTS Burn the Stage: The Movie has made about $14 million so far in the 79 territories where it has been shown.
