I'm not much for conspiracy theories BUT my girl Taylor Swift pretty much predicted the FaceTime "hellbug" if you ask me.
Let's go back her interview with Rolling Stone in 2014... “Don’t even get me started on wiretaps. It’s not a good thing for me to talk about socially. I freak out … I have to stop myself from thinking about how many aspects of technology I don’t understand.” She said, "'Speakers put sound out … so can’t they take sound in? Or’ – she holds up her cellphone – ‘they can turn this on, right? I’m just saying. We don’t even know.’”
Um... yeah girl, apparently they can!
Earlier this week iPhones briefly let anyone with your phone number call you on FaceTime and listen in via your phone’s mic before you picked up, without your knowledge or consent! Hello!? That's totally creepy!
Also, have you tried the Alexa "dropping in" feature? I love Alexa, but the fact that she hears me say "Alexa" means she's listening to everything else I say... doesn't it?
