I don’t know if you know this about me, but I’m a huge fan of MMA. While my boy Connor McGregor may not be my favorite in personality, he is definitely an amazing fighter.
We’ve heard him say before that he’s going to "retire young" and then he went on to fight and beat Nate Díaz.
But last night, or this morning around 1:18a, he tweeted what seemed like a much more formal announcement saying he’s going to "retire from the sport formally known as "Mixed Martial Arts." The news broke on TMZ and apparently Dana White thinks it's not fake news.
McGregor is set to fight in July but then again, with his whiskey doing so well, who says he needs to get back in the ring?
