With school wrapping up Miami-Dade Police wants to make sure that our teenagers are safe throughout the summer. They're reminding parents of the teen curfew implemented in the county.
Teenagers under 16 years of age have to be accompanied by a parent Monday through Friday 11 PM to 6 AM and on weekends from midnight to 6 AM. The only exception is if the teed is driving to and from work.
Parents, please note that the third offense of breaking this teen curfew could possibly result in a $500 fine so make sure you keep your teens home during curfew hours.
