Lady Gaga Interview Shutting Down Sexist Interviewer Has Resurfaced

This is not the first time this interview resurfaces... But every time it has, it's just as powerful and shows that we haven't evolved nearly as much as we like to think we have when it comes to equality between men and women in entertainment (or anywhere else for that matter).

Gaga's fearlessness and authenticity was what caught my attention when she first came out. To be honest, I initially wasn't a fan of her music. I just loved the way she portrayed herself 100% the way she wanted without a care about how it was received. I got hooked on a few of her songs while I was teaching my dancers at GiGi's Academy cause the kids loved her music and it slowly grew on me. Now I love listening to her especially after watching her live last time she came to Miami. But it was HER, as she is in this resurfaced interview - raw and unapologetic - that I loved first.

In an interview clip dating back to 2009, Gaga is asked if she was scared "her provocative lyrics would overshadow her talent". Her response to the question has since become something of a legendary moment for the musician.
