Flying is stressful enough without stories like this hitting the news. Even though this one comes with a relatively "happy" ending.
The people on this flight definitely have guardian angels looking after them. They were on a flight from Manchester to Funchal, Madeira and the pilot reportedly passed out mid-flight. Passed out!
Thankfully there just so happened to be an off-duty pilot on the same plane and was able to step in. The plane was then forced to make an emergency landing at Porto Airport in Portugal.
A man who said he was a passenger on the flight said that the original pilot was wheeled off the plane in a wheelchair and wearing an oxygen mask, The Sun reports.
