Officer Chris Schalk saved the life of an 82-year-old woman who was choking on broccoli at the Golden Corral Buffet & Grill, according to the Boynton Beach Police Department.
"He was working an off-duty detail at Golden Corral on Sunday when an employee told him an elderly woman was choking," Stephanie Slater of the Boynton Beach Police Department told Patch on Saturday.
As if I needed any more reasons not to want to eat broccoli.
All I'm saying is this guy's a hero and I never heard of anyone choking on chocolate.
