Meghan Markle stepped out solo to support the opening ceremony of the 2019 One Young World Summit and the Duchess of Sussex had a pretty awkward encounter at the event! When Meghan walked on to the stage to greet one of the event's founders with a friendly hug, she was faced with the woman doing a curtsey instead. You can see the awkward moment below.
Good news is, Meghan seems to be a pro at making those around her feel comfortable no matter what. She hugged the lady anyway and both laughed it off.
