I absolutely love LGBTQ events! The love vibe I feel while hosting these festivals fills my heart and refreshes my spirit. To see the Latino community come together in this way is especially powerful for me because I know that we still have a long way to go on the road to being more accepting and open, and festivals like this really help because they're founded on love and offer fun for the whole family.
This Sunday the Gay8 Festival will start at 11a till 10p with performers all day long including Lucy Grau, Son Lokos, Nic y N'Taya and headliner Albita. The festival is free and you can have a great time all day long. Check out my interview with Gay8 Festival Co-Founder and Producer Damian Prado!
