Bachelor Nation, it's official!!!! The next Bachelorette has been announced!
Everyone was caught off guard when the announcement was made that 38-year old Clare Crawley will be the next Bachelorette. Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor is coming to an end very soon and usually it's one of the runner-ups that get to go on to be the lead the following season. Most people expected that to happen again, but instead producers went back to 2014 to find their new leading lady.
Claire was first on season 18 of The Bachelor with Juan Pablo Galavis. She made it to the final two before a heated split with Juan Pablo.
The new season of The Bachelorette premiers May 18 on ABC.
