If you're planning on heading out to do some Black Friday shopping, Walmart just announced their plans for this year. Of course like with everything else, there will be some changes due to the pandemic.
The chain will still have in-store events, with stores opening at 5 a.m. local time. Customers must line up single-file before they enter. Stores will also be limiting the number of people inside at one time. Employees will be distributing sanitized shopping carts and reminding customers to put on a mask.
Walmart is also planning on encouraging customers to shop online, to discourage big crowds. The company said it will split up Black Friday into three different holiday sales events, staggered throughout the month of November. Each will begin on its website and hit stores a few days later.
