Reese Witherspoon was able to do something that a lot of us would love to do – speak to her younger self. During her recent appearance on The View, they showed her a clip of her first time on their show as part of their 25th anniversary celebration.
For the record, Reese was a 23-year-old new mom to Ava, now 22. At the time, she was living in Los Angeles with no family or friends to give her any parenting advice. “I would cry. I didn't know what to do when the baby cried all night. I didn't understand what sleep training was,” she explained. “Ava was up all night until she was probably seven months old because I just didn't understand not to keep feeding her, because I thought she was hungry all the time.”
After watching the clip, the now 45-year-old said, “I just want to hug my baby self and tell her, ‘You're going to be okay!’ I also want to tell her, ‘You need to grow out that haircut because it's sort of a soccer mom situation, which you're way too young for.’”
