As a mother I honestly don't know what I would do if a daycare did this to my child. This is an incident that in my opinion has zero excuses. The channel WSVN is reporting that KinderCare Learning Center on West Sunrise Boulevard left a 2 year old alone, in the dark, locked in after they closed for the day. Stephanie Martinez, the child's mother, went to pick her up at KinderCare when she realized they were closed. She knocked on the door repeatedly when her daughter must have heard her voice and pulled over a chair to stand on to see through the window. The school says that the incident happened due to short staffing, and they are supposedly taken action already on the two employees working that night.
What would you do if it happened to your kid?
