ICYMI: Gloria Estefan has gone from the Red Table to the Big Screen...

Another Hollywood Film is getting a facelift in the form of an Epic Cuban Twist...

Warner Brothers has revived the Hollywood Classic, Father of the Bride, but this time with an authentically cuban twist in the form of Andy Garcia as Billy Herrara "the dad" and Gloria Estefan as Ingrid "the mom", along with a predominantly Latin cast including Adria Arjona who's plays the bride to be Sofia, Diego Boneta the groom to be, and Isabella Merced as Cora, Sofia's sister.

The film, directed by Gaz Alazraki and written by Matt Lopez, delivers on authenticity — using actors who speak Spanish fluently and working in cultural nuances rather than relying on the broad stroke representation of Latinos we have come to expect from Hollywood. According to the New York Times, the film, which is directed by Gaz Alazraki and written by Matt Lopez, delivers on authenticity — using actors who speak Spanish fluently and working in cultural nuances rather than relying on the broad stroke representation of Latinos we have come to expect from Hollywood.

We know the studio and team took their jobs seriously because they chose to have an EPIC Miami premiere (duh, you couldn't have a movie centered around a Cuban family and NOT!!!) and I've got to tell you...

I'm very disappointed my invitation got lost in the mail because the vibes were straight MIAMI!!!

Check out this video from Gloria Estefan...

Father of the Bride is currently streaming on HBOMax!!!!
