Hurricane Experts Eye Atlantic Tropical Wave

Experts at the National Hurricane Center in Miami are watching a "vigorous tropical wave," over the Atlantic. There is not a lot of convection with it. It's well developed, but actually two tropical waves expected to merge.

The system is expected to enter the Caribbean to the northeast of the Leeward Islands by Tuesday, then continue westward, north of Hispaniola and Puerto Rico by Thursday, perhaps reaching into the Bahamas and the South Florida region possibly by Friday.
