Melania Trump is New York Times #1 Best Selling Author

Melania Trump is the No. 1 author on The New York Times best-seller list.

The former first lady’s memoir, Melania, is the highest-selling hardcover nonfiction book of the week.

Former Donald Trump praised his wife, Melania Trump, who was with him last night at the Al Smith dinner in New York City.

Trump congratulated her for reaching the top spot on the New York Times Best Seller list.

According to the NYT, Melania beat out Lisa Marie Presley and Riley Keough who also penned memoirs.

The Times panned her book as “bland” with its 180 pages "substantially bolstered by photo inserts."

Melania Trump writes that her son with the former president, Barron, was denied a bank account due to "cancel culture" after the family left the White House.

The former first lady expresses frustration over what she describes as "politically motivated discrimination."

In fact, during her husband's presidency, the former super model was snubbed by fashion magazines who refused to feature her on the cover.

Jill Biden was Vogue's cover star for August, continuing the magazine's tradition of featuring the first lady on its front page.

This practice went on hiatus during the Donald Trump era, however, with Melania Trump snubbed by the fashion magazine.

By contrast, former First Lady Michelle Obama has graced the cover of more than 15 American magazines.
