(New York, NY) - In addition to his proposals to not tax tips and social security, Former President Donald Trump revealed another tax break policy Sunday night at a massive rally at Madison Square Garden.
“I’m announcing a new policy today that I will support a tax credit for family caregivers who take care of a parent or a loved one,” the 45th president announced to some 20,000 supporters.
Last night he said, "it's time to recognize these hard workers." Trump has previously pledged to step up for seniors and the family members who care for them.
A campaign spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt, told USA Today on Friday that Trump “will take care of our seniors by shifting resources back to at-home senior care, overturning disincentives that lead to care worker shortages, and supporting unpaid family caregivers through tax credits and reduced red tape.”
Vice President Kamala Harris is also offering help to America's seniors by expanding Medicare to cover home care.
