Country music star Jimmie Allen concerned fans after an announcement on Twitter made it seem the singer was quitting music. Turns out, he's not quitting, he’s leaving Nashville and moving to Florida.
On Saturday (2/25/2023), Jimme took to Twitter and wrote, “Dear Nashville, I came to you in 2007 chasing this music dream. Thank you for the memories we made over the years. It’s time to move on now but I’ll be back for a visit for sure. Take care.”
Of course, this sent fans into a frenzy of thinking this meant he was leaving music altogether.
It wasn't until one fan in the comments section wrote “LA bound!”, to which the 37-year-old singer simply replied with, “FL.”
Another fan commented saying that Allen was "pulling a Taylor Swift move," and he then clarified he wasn't leaving country music, just the city of Nashville, and replied, "Just moving to FL somewhere warmer with a beach haha."
Where in Florida has he decided to plant roots? That we don't know yet, but the prospect of Jimmie Allen potentially being our neighbor is an exciting thing.
