An off-duty Miramar firefighter is being hailed a hero for rescuing a distressed couple from a fiery accident in Martin County. Fire Captain Bruce Hill assisted Martin County sheriff's deputies in getting a couple car out of a burning car that crashed with a power pole yesterday at Kanner Highway. The couple was taken to the hospital. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
