(Miami, FL) -- A downtown Miami courthouse is closed today due to flooding caused by yesterday's torrential downpours. The Lawson E. Thomas Courthouse near the Stephen P. Clark Government Center was shut down yesterday after rainwater poured into parts of the skyscraper. Family court proceedings scheduled today at the facility are rescheduled.
