(Fort Lauderdale, FL) -- Parents of Broward County schoolchildren in need of required immunizations can receive them free from the health department. The Broward Health Department is doling out free vaccines to kids ages four-to 18-years-old from August 7th until the 22nd.
The free shots will be administered at the Lauderhill Mall and parents or legal guardians need to be there when they happen.
More information on the service is available online by logging on to Broward.FloridaHealth.gov.
Some parents maintain a firm stance against immunizations, though. There are some measures that can be taken to avoid having your child immunized and accepted into the local school systems.
