Florida, California Team To Make Strawberries More Resistant To Disease

California and Florida researchers are teaming up to work on making strawberries more resistant to disease, and they're getting a lot of money to do so. UC Davis Professor Steve Knapp says the university is getting almost two-and-a-half-million dollars of a four-and-a-half-million dollar grant from the National Institute of Food and Agriculture and colleagues in Florida are getting the balance.
