A newborn giraffe is the latest animal addition at Zoo Miami. Zoo spokesman Ron Magill confirmed that the zoo's 51st giraffe stood up and took its first steps after falling out of its mother's womb. Zookeepers will keep a close eye on the animal over the next few days to make sure it can thrive on its own.
