President Trump has been made aware of the nightmare unfolding in Las Vegas.
The president took to Twitter this morning after the deadliest mass shooting in American history. He tweeted "My warmest condolences and sympathies to the victims and families of the terrible Las Vegas shooting. God bless you!" At least 50 people were killed and more than 200 others injured when a lone gunman opened fire on a crowd of people gathered for a country music concert on the Vegas Strip. The shooter has been identified as 64 year old Stephen Paddock. Authorities traced him to a room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay, across from the concert. He was killed by police.
