75 dogs and 25 cats arriving over night after a long few weeks since the storm.. their home on the island: the Save a Sato shelter was destroyed.
Humane Society of Broward's Cherie Wachter says these babies are here because the Save a Sato shelter that housed them on the island, was destroyed during Hurricane Maria. This is the second animal rescue flight to land here from the island. The furry evacuees are now at the Humane Society of Broward County and available for adoption by the weekend.
