(Miami, FL) -- The new owners of the Miami Marlins are reportedly looking for new investors. FanRag Sports obtained a memo indicating the Marlins' goal is to raise 250-million-dollars.
The memo cites potential money-making opportunities including payroll discipline, farm system upgrades, Marlins Park naming rights and more stadium concerts.
Businessman Bruce Sherman and former Yankees star Derek Jeter bought the team from Jeffrey Loria in September.
