(Washington, DC) -- The office of U.S. Senator Marco Rubio plans to formally notify Congressional administrative offices today that the Florida Republican has fired his chief of staff.
In a statement issued Saturday night, Rubio did not mention Clint Reed by name, but announced that his chief of staff had been fired over "allegations of improper conduct" with a subordinate.
Rubio did not disclose details of the improper conduct.
He said that was "pursuant to the wishes of those victimized by this conduct."
