(Broward County, FL) -- A Broward County judge under investigation for favoritism is stepping down. Judge Claudia Robinson announced her resignation Thursday.
The Judicial Qualifications Commission is investigating accusations that Robinson gave a large percentage of mediation appointments to her 2014 campaign manager.
The commission's formal charges alleged the appointments gave the appearance of favoritism.
Robinson conceded the charges in November and was suspended for 30 days. Her resignation takes effect February 12th.
