(Miami Beach, FL) -- A Miami Beach woman accused of attacking a fellow Lyft passenger with her high heel shoe is out of jail. Sherry Moody surrendered to Miami Beach police Thursday.
Investigators say Moody was intoxicated when she yelled anti-gay slurs, slapped, scratched and kicked a man in the face with her high heel on January 26. Police say Moody got angry when the Lyft driver refused to take her to a drive-through to pick up food, and also got upset when the driver picked up the victim.
The man has a puncture wound in his face from the alleged attack.
Moody is facing felony battery charges.
She was released from jail hours after turning herself in.
